Mike Langford M. Photog III, FIII HF NZIPP
Mike Langford has spent the last thirty years working as an international commercial and travel photographer with over twenty books bearing his name and many others as contributor. Throughout that time he has been a much sought after International Awards Judge and lecturer. He now brings all this knowledge into the Queenstown Centre for Creative Photography workshops.
Mike's photographic approach is one of research and an understanding of the requirements needed to successfully communicate an idea. As a result of this attitude he tends to 'make' images rather than take them. "Visual communication and telling stories with images is what I love to do, so that's what I do best."
Mike is a great teacher who is prepared to share all his knowledge to anyone who is genuinely interested in learning.
Mike's commercial site shows his commercial work and current award images.

Jackie Ranken M.Photog.III, FNZIPP
Multi award winning landscape art photographer Jackie Ranken has established herself as a Canon EOS Master photographer in Australia and New Zealand with her unique black and white aerial imagery, examples are in the book called 'Aerial Abstracts' ( available for purchase direct from Jackie). Since moving to Queenstown, New Zealand in 2003, Jackie has concentrated on making her unique style adapt to photographing 'on the ground'. Her list of photography awards since then is testament to her success. She is the only photographer to have won both Australian Professional Photographer of the Year (AIPP) and New Zealand Professional Photographer of the Year (NZIPP).
Jackie's personal challenge is to capture the essence of where she is where ever she is on the planet. To notice the beauty in shapes, textures and light, while at the same time referencing who she is and what she like's to photograph.
More information and images can be found at her web site.
