The Catlins Landscape Photography New Zealand

Cost NZD $3576.00

Date-May 16-21 2019

Queenstown to the Catlins-South Island, New Zealand

One place available (Updated 21/2/2019)

The Catlin’s is the hidden gem of the south. It sits between Invercargill and Dunedin at the bottom of the South Island of New Zealand and very much off the beaten track. The landscape and its people are very Kiwi. This part of the planet is a long way from the rest of the world, it has its own pace and its own sense of place - like no other.

Photographers on this workshop will have the opportunity to photograph the honest nature of New Zealand's southern tip. From forests, waterfalls, wildlife, weather, trees, people.

What is important is to slow down and 'see' the beauty around you. Take a deep breath and relax with like minded photographers.

This photography tour starts and ends in Istanbul, one of the world great historical cities.

From there we travel back in time to the eastern borders of Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Iraq and Syria,

where the population is made up of mostly Kurds and the lifestyles are more traditional and nomadic.

The landscape, along with the climate, changes from the north to the south. Then, as we travel back

towards the west, we encounter the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia and the historical features left

behind by the Roman and Byzantine empires.

As we are travelling on the edge of winter, this means less tourist and great atmospheric light.

This tour is based on Mike & Jackie's recent exploration & through their research, they believe that they

are offering you the best Turkey offers, photographically speaking.
