3 DAY LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

COST- NZD$2400.00  (includes 3 nights accommodation + travel)

MAX 6 STUDENTS WITH TWO INSTRUCTORS (Mike Langford and Jackie Ranken )

Three places available (updated 24/7/2018)

SOUTH ISLAND, NEW ZEALAND

On this shorter three day workshop, Mike and Jackie share their favourite landscape destinations found at the top of the Lake Wakatipu, forty five minutes drive from Queenstown.

Fly in on Friday afternoon and fly out Monday afternoon. This is a great opportunity for a mini break away from work to fuel your creativity.

This area is famous for the many epic movies that have been filmed there. It is a paradise for photographers. Winter mists and frosty morning can be followed by incredibly beautiful days of sunshine or passing storms with awesome clouds.  In the South Island of NZ there can be four seasons in one day.

On this tour, we have organized an optional extra helicopter flight to drop us into some amazing remote back-country landscapes. The beauty of these untouched alpine areas will take your breath away.

This is the time of year that we may see an Aurora Australis. See the images made in our 2017 Paradise Workshop  Photo Book

Srinagar, the capital city of Kashmir, is famed as one of the most beautiful places on earth and it doesn’t disappoint. With your accommodation on one of the famed houseboats on Dal Lake, you will be able to relax in the tranquil waters, and explore the Mughal gardens and monuments of this great city.

On Dal Lake enjoy retail therapy in the form of local traders plying the wares lakeside while you are rowed around the lake in a Shikara.  They call it "Little Tibet", not just because of its geographical proximity to Tibet, but also because it plays host to several Tibetan cultural festivals.

Ladakh might be India's most remote region, but its beauty is incomparable. Stark mountains dotted with colourful gompas (monasteries), fluttering prayer flags, rocky ridges, dry plains and tiny settlements.
