2 pm leave Queenstown, Jackie will organize the group to travel to Kinloch as a group, in convoy.
Let Jackie know if you require transport.
3pm - 4pm Check in at Kinloch Lodge.
4.30 Introduction to the course, bring along five photographs to introduce your self to your fellow photographers,
preferably Introduction
to the course, bring along five digital files or prints preferably
landscapes to start to critique process.
7.30 pm Dinner.
8.30-Mike and Jackie will then fill you in on who they are in the photographic world by showing you images from their audio visual collection.
Saturday ...
Sunrise The magic hours for landscape photography begin half an hour before sunrise.
So this is where the day begins, exploring the lake front at Kinloch.
8.30 am Breakfast.
9.30 am - 10.30 am Photography exploration exercises. The group maybe temporarily broken into
two groups, depending on the experience levels.
10.30 am - 11 am Critique of images.
11 am morning tea.
11.15 am - 12.30 pm Composition lecture, discussion on the image making process
and pre-visualization.
12.30 pm -1.30 pm lunch.
1.30 pm - 4.00 pm Practical- Excursion from Kinloch, destination to be decided on the day.
4 pm afternoon tea.
4.30 pm - 6.00 pm critique with lecture.
7.00 pm dinner.
8.30 pm - 9.30 pm Audio visual from Mike and Jackie or continue with the critique session if necessary.
Discussion of the next days photographic options: making a series, the intent behind your image making,
what are you going to do with your images?
Sunday ...
6.30 am shoot, revisiting the wonderful lake around Kinloch, a chance to take your photography beyond what you did on the previous day.
8 am breakfast.
9.00 am - 11.00 am critique and lecture.

11.15 - 12.30 pm rest time, the afternoon is full on.
12.30 pm - 1.30 pm lunch.
1.30 pm - 6.00 pm to various destinations applying the knowledge you have learnt to your
photography.
6.00-6.30 Download images.
7.00 pm dinner. 8.30 - critique from the afternoon shoot.
Monday ...
8.30 am breakfast.
9.00 am debrief, demonstration on how to publish your own limited edition books.
11 am departure.
Jackie Ranken (Master AIPP) Master and Fellow NZIPP, and Mike Langford (Fellow and Master AIPP, Fellow, Honorary Fellow and Master NZIPP), are both International award winning photographers,
and directors of the Queenstown Centre for Creative Photography, with a long line of awards to back them up.
They provide a unique hands on forum for learning and experiencing photography through the use of modern Canon digital cameras and lenses.
This is a chance to test drive equipment that you have never used before and discover your true potential behind the lens. UPDATE
