THE INSTRUCTORS
Jackie Ranken has been in the photography industry for over 35 years. She has experience in many areas of photography including photojournalism, weddings, commercial, sport and, her most favourite genre – art/landscape photography.
Jackie has empathy to help emerging, enthusiast and professional photographers to not only make better images but to learn how to enjoy the image making process in the ongoing journey of 'life'. She offers one line private tuition sessions as well as face to face experiences.
Mike Langford has over 35 year experience as an International Professional Photographer. For twenty years he worked for Australian Geographic producing two books and seventeen assignments. He was Australian Geographic Photographer of the year in 1992. His experience also extends to Hotels, architecture, corporate photography and tourism. Mike has a wealth of knowledge to share.
Jackie and Mike are International Photography Judges and Conference Speakers.
Both are Canon Masters, Grand Masters of the NZIPP and AIPP
Many clients find value by taking a 2-hour session with Jackie or Mike in the morning.
Then mix this with a 5-hour Photo Safari with either Mike or Jackie and other client/photographers in the afternoon.
Group booking are an option as well as private multi-day Workshops

- YOUR CAMERA (AND A TRIPOD). OR YOU CAN TRIAL A CANON EOS 70D, 7D OR 6D. WE ALSO HAVE TRIPODS.
- LIST OF QUESTIONS, YOUR CAMERA MANUAL MAY BE NEEDED
If you want feedback on images that you have already made then bring a
- USB DRIVE OF IMAGES or a computer
- NOTE PAD
COSTS
$130 p/hr minimum two hour sessions. Pay on the day in cash or prior via paypal or direct credit. Payment details are on our SHOP page

Queenstown Centre for Creative Photography (“QCCP”) shall not be responsible or liable for any personal or property damage throughout the duration of the workshop. QCCP shall not be responsible for any costs or losses incurred due to flight delays or cancellations and highly recommends participants purchase appropriate travel insurance. QCCP reserves the right to cancel workshops if numbers are insufficient or due to unforeseen circumstances.
