Creative Photography workshops care about your safety

This statement is a simple reminder that attending a Workshop with Creative Photography Workshops contains some inherent risks and hazards. While we fully endeavour to create a safe environment for you to learn enjoy your time with us, it is important that you actively take responsibility for your own well-being & safety.

As you engage in the activities available, you do so at your own risk and of your own volition.

We require all clients to be in good health and if you have any cold and flue symptoms to have a Negative RAT test 24 hours before the workshop begins.

If you become sick during the workshop notify, Creative Photography Workshops Limited as soon as possible.

Fitness level: You must be able to walk up a flight of stairs, and be able to walk at least 1 km over uneven ground carrying your camera gear.

Hazards Include:

• Uneven terrain and slopes

• Exposure to cold temperatures

• Exposure to ultraviolet light

• The uncontrolled terrain within the landscape

• Driving on sealed and unsealed roads

Refund Policy for our New Zealand Workshops

Three months out- Full Refund (less any transfer fees)

Within three months deposits can be transferred to another workshop.

Within two months - full payment is required unless the place is filled with another photographer.

If you have a positive RAT test and are unable to attend the workshop then we will transfer your payment to another workshop in the future, less any cancellation fees from our accommodation providers.

Property Damage and Insurance-

Creative Photography Workshops shall not be responsible or liable for any personal or property damage throughout the duration of the workshop. CPW shall not be responsible for any costs or losses incurred due to flight delays or cancellations and highly recommends participants purchase appropriate travel insurance.  CPW reserves the right to cancel workshops if numbers are insufficient or due to unforeseen circumstances.

Creative Photography Workshop is fully compliant with DOC concessions and has an accredited Health and safety plan.

International Workshops

On our International Photography Workshops we may travel to places that have travel warnings.

In this situation we ask our clients to do their own research with reference to the travel schedule that we have planned and make a decision for themselves about their own risk level.

International Travel Insurance is recommended (Tori Keating from X-Travel can make recommendations for this when you make your Workshop Booking.)

We (Mike and Jackie) take you to places that we have traveled ourselves. Places that we find interesting and exciting to photograph.

We often travel at a time of the year when regular tourists stay at home. We do this because in the cusp season the weather is more atmospheric ( autumn and early winter) and there are much less people.

We share what we have learnt on our personal trips to make your trip even more exciting than our own.

We give trust and authority to our expert Travel Guides in Uzbekitan to change the schedule at any time in order to lower any unforeseen risk that may arise while we are there.

COVID-19

Those who travel at present do so knowing that COVID-19 is a continually changing ball game.

Make your decision knowing that your travel plans and our schedule may change due to unexpected factors like: unexpected lockdowns, changing immigration and border restrictions, new isolation rulings or a photographer within our group or a guide catching COVID. Additional costs may be incurred as a result.

You are solely responsible for having current travel vaccinations and the necessary VISAS/Vaccination Certificates to travel with us.

You are responsible for any medical fees or tests as well as any charges for quarantine stays or itinerary changes as a result of any quarantine.

Be sure you understand the liabilities in your chosen Travel Insurance. So that you are prepared and feel ready for an exciting trip away.
